Don't waste your time

I received this book for review, and was truly let down by its content, it's illustrations, and its overall presentation.
Even for a novice, it did not add much value. I suppose that for a book on color theory, I expected more content as well as more impactful illustrations. It was clearly thrown together on a MS word doc.
And the part where the author wrote the most was about her own life, which is not going to be the reason why a customer purchased a book on color theory.
I would suggest that the author take the time to create more appealing illustrations and examples showing the different color combinations and examples of them in use, as well as taking the time to explore more areas for content on the piece.

color information compiled for you

I received this book for free for the purposes of reviewing it.
This isn't even really a book, to be honest. It's just a bunch of information that can be found on the internet in much more appealing formats.
The author didn't even take the time to learn about page layouts or book design before putting it on the market, and to be honest, I expected some sort of illustrations, rather than computer-generated color wheels from an illustrator.
Definitely a 1-star product. I would love to see this in a well-designed format, with more information about how colors work together in a composition.

there really is nothing to this "book". it's barely a dictionary of a few terms relating to color. you'd be better off finding a one page tutorial on the internet
